Microsoft has announced plans for the Xbox One to have DVR capabilities when it launches an update to the over the air functions of the console. This is big news for anyone that already has an Xbox One or for anyone with plans to purchase this holiday season. As of right now the update seems to only becoming to 3 regions so far the United States, United Kingdom and Canada with other regions to be announced at a later date. You can already watch cable through your Xbox One with the your cable providers box plugged in, but now you will be able to record all your favorite shows. This means you will be needing a bigger hard drive, lucky for you Seagate has come aboard to make 2TB hard drives for the Xbox One for anyone worried about space. With backwards compatibility update coming and Windows 10 being made to work with the Xbox One in the future I can”t wait to see what this does for the brand.
